God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that all
who believe in Him might not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16

Fr. Tom ParentiWelcome to Star of the Sea

The Parish is where the Church lives and comes alive in worship and service. A parish is a place of faith, action and hope. It is a community of believers in Jesus Christ; the good news for all people.

It is a place of proclamation and celebration of unique gifts and charismas richly given by God for His glory and the salvation of souls. It is a place where all feel at home with God; in a praying, loving, and embracing community.

It is a community when the definition of Church given by James Joyce is a reality "Here comes everybody"; and we might add - 'home'. To everyone, Catholics and non-Catholics alike; we extend a warm welcome.

CHOIR

We are looking for more volunteers to join our choir. We are not looking for soloists, but rather people whose voices will blend with others. Choir practice is from 6 p.m. - 7.30 p.m. on Thursday evenings, and we sing at the 9.30 a.m. Mass on Sundays. Please consider joining us in this important and rewarding ministry. If you are able to do so, please contact Robin Olive on 415 209 3136.
