Tower Update

We believe now that the entire repair, sealing and painting of the tower has been completed it is something to be proud of. It is hoped that somehow we will be able to raise the money to finish the painting of the entire Church. We thank those who gave so generously. So far we have raised $32,750 for the tower, but still need $7,250. We hope to paint the entire Church which will cost $43,000.

Rectory Telephones

We are very grateful to one of our parishioners who has graciously donated a telephone system for our office. Our phones are now functioning properly so you can now leave messages.

Catholic Tour

The Catholic Tour, a 31 year old Catholic Pilgrimage Apostolate is pleased to announce the new pilgrimage dates to Fatima, Portugal for the month of March, 2012.Www.thecatholictour.com, 1-877-627-4268

Choir

We are urgently seeking members for our new choir. We are not looking for soloists, but rather voices that will blend together; and while the ability to read music helps– it is not a requirement. Also, for the first time we are looking for boys & girls (age 10 and up) to join us. Our first task will be learning a new setting of the Mass. Please consider joining us in this important and rewarding ministry. If able to do so please speak to or call Robin Olive on 415 209 3136.

Advent Giving Tree

This year we will have our “ADVENT GIVING TREE” for needy families in Sausalito and Marin City.
Please, take an envelope off the tree, and return it to the basket nearby with your check made out to Star of the Sea SVDP Society or with a Safeway or Mollie Stones gift card. Thank you for your generous participation.
May you be blessed as you bless others.

Eucharistic Ministers Needed

If you are interested in serving as a Eucharistic Minister, please contact the rectory at 332-1765. Serving the Lord in this ministry is truly a blessing. We need you!

Estate Planning

We ask that you consider remembering St. Mary Star of the Sea in your Will. For further information, please call Father Tom at 415-332-1765.

Save Those Mollie Stones Receipts

A reminder to save your Mollie Stone receipts, put them in an envelope and drop it in the collection basket. The receipts will be collated and submitted to the market where Michael Stone has generously agreed to return 1% to the parish. These dollars add up and our most recent return check was for $333. Working together, we can make these return checks a significant contribution to out parish.

Donate to our Food Pantry

Please remember to bring non-perishable food items for our pantry and leave them at the rear of the church. We are in need of chili, stews, soups, canned fruits & vegetables, cereals and tuna. Paper and plastic bags are also needed. Thank you!
